Unfortunately that dream of warmth is not always as easy to achieve as you would think. Depending on climate trying to get a cosy place, preferably close to nature, to enjoy your beer or wine can be very difficult. There have been a few attempts to remedy this throughout history but the latest, most fashionable and convenient is the Fire Bowl.

What Is Wrong With A Bonfire?

Sure you can always go the old fashioned route of gathering a mountain of wood and building yourself a bonfire. Many would say that for authenticity this can’t be beaten. In many other ways though it can be improved upon and that is where fire bowls come in.

For a start off as lovely as that bonfire is, once it is lit you are staying right where you are. No point fancying a change of scenery. A fire bowl on the other hand is portable; where ever you want to be is where the fire is.

And much as we are all big fans of the humble bonfire it is not the most aesthetically pleasing arrangement. Fire bowls not only feel great they look great too. An addition to your decor rather than a detriment.

Lastly, the fuel is a bit more easily found and not as environmentally damaging. By this I mean you are unlikely to be tempted to run inside and grab you mother’s favorite dining chair in order to avoid your fire being taken away from you. That move inevitably damages your environment.

Not A Sell Out

Do not despair there will always be a place for an old fashioned fire pit dug into the ground. Fishing trips were made for them, if you can be bothered gathering the wood and making sure it is dry enough to not smolder. You are not a sell out because you prefer the convenience and comfort of a fire bowl. Quite the contrary; it is a choice that makes you the very picture of a sensible modern man, or woman.
